**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced **Handover Manager** to join our team and oversee the testing, commissioning, and contract handover deliverables for large-scale infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all assets are handed over in compliance with project requirements, stakeholder expectations, and operational readiness standards. This role requires exceptional coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills to facilitate a seamless transition from project delivery to operations.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Maintain a clear and up-to-date asset handover tracker across all assigned assets.
+ Coordinate daily with project directors, contractors, and subcontractors on handover progress.
+ Attend site meetings, inspections, and walkthroughs to verify handover readiness.
+ Review submitted testing and commissioning (T&C) plans and verify alignment with asset requirements.
+ Monitor and witness on-site commissioning activities as required.
+ Collect, review, and organize test reports, certificates, and checklists.
+ Raise any gaps, delays, or issues in T&C execution to the project manager.
+ Collate, review, and validate handover documentation packages, including as-built drawings, test results, commissioning certificates, warranties, guarantees, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, training manuals, and training attendance records (where applicable).
+ Provide feedback to contractors on deficiencies or missing documentation.
+ Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for inspections, approvals, and final signoffs.
+ Facilitate clear communication between project delivery and operations teams to reduce delays in asset acceptance.
+ Provide weekly updates summarizing handover and commissioning status, highlighting key risks, blockers, and unresolved items.
+ Submit a final report documenting all completed handovers, lessons learned, and recommendations for future projects.
**What’s Required for the Role:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. LEED certification is preferred.
+ 12+ years of experience in handover management, testing and commissioning, or related roles in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
+ Strong knowledge of testing and commissioning processes, asset handover requirements, and documentation standards.
+ Proficiency in managing handover trackers, monitoring logs, and preparing detailed reports.
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assets and stakeholders simultaneously.
+ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate collaboration between contractors, project teams, and operations teams.
+ Attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve documentation deficiencies or gaps.
+ Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
