The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hairstyling. The OKANA Resort is part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, a leading hospitality company that offers career opportunities and has a steadfast commitment to putting people first. What you will be doing: Must be at least 17 years old. Successful completion of the Oklahoma Hairbraiding Technician Certification, which includes: Passing a safety and sanitation exam with a minimum score of 75%. Submitting a completed application to the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. Purchasing the Rules and Regulations book for $5. Prior experience in hair braiding is preferred but not required. Proficiency in various braiding techniques and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions. High School diploma required; relevant vocational experience is beneficial. Excellent communication skills; able to speak, read, & write English; able to discuss with clients and provide clear explanations of service. Personable, customer-centric attitude; providing a friendly and professional demeanor to build client trust & loyalty. Listening skills to understand client needs/requests and ensure a positive experience. What you bring to the role: Maintain clean and organized work area. Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor. Coordinate, organize and carry out services. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, be personable and helpful to clients. Demonstrate full knowledge of use and maintenance of spa facility and services offered.
