Key Accountabilities:
Own the Operations financial KPI reporting, expense tracking, and Unit Costing, for monthly business reviews and material preparation for executive leadership team.Collaborate closely with Expense and Finance partners on active forecasting of initiative budgets through each budget cycle, scheduling expenditures and analyzing variancesPartner closely with Operations leaders to capture and track progress of macro initiative savings towards, ensuring alignment with margin and digital customer leadership financial objectivesDevelop and capture appropriate narration for finance-driven presentations to communicate key messages and metrics for GWAM OperationsWork across different teams and with all levels of management to form relationships and business knowledgeProvide analytical support and oversee project execution for strategic initiatives as neededOperations and the larger Manulife Operations organizationOversee and propose additional methods to improve against highly visible strategic KPI’s and objectivesManage complexity across a range of issues—prioritize and manage competing initiatives; challenge the status quo and suggest alternative ways of conducting operationsAttract, develop, engage, coach, and retain diverse leadership and talentQualifications
Educational qualification in Finance/Accounting or Economics major preferredProfessional designation is an asset (e.g MBA, CPA, CFA)At least 5 years of related business experience gained from financial institutions, corporate development, strategic consulting, investment operations, project management or similar experienceSelf-starter and team player with a high level of initiative, strong work ethic and the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report informationExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills needed to engage with different levels of leadership and effectively influence partnersStrong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PPTResilient delivery mind-set with a strong execution focusBehaviors

HybridSalary range is expected to be between
