Job Description: Gulf Regulatory Affairs Associate, Dubai (m/f/*) The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Gulf Regulatory Affairs Associate at 3M in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: + Leading product stewardship and customer interaction in the Gulf region. + Obtaining and managing local external certifications in the Gulf region. + Contributing to regulatory activities associated with new and existing products, which may include data collection and analysis, collation of technical documentation, and administration of databases. + Monitoring local regulations in the Gulf region. + Communicating with 3M business units to plan registrations and ensure required documents are supplied. + Ensuring compliance by coordinating with service providers and various departments. + Supporting regulatory tasks as needed across MEA countries. + Assisting with audits and contribute to developing procedures. + Overseeing and promoting 3M Customer Innovation Center (CIC) in Dubai, welcoming visitors to discuss innovation and sustainability. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. + UAE National ID (Emirates ID) identity card issued by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA). + Fluent in Arabic and English. + Flexibility on working hours around customer visits to CIC as per customers’ request. Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + Exceptional communication, narrative development, and organizational abilities. + Experience in managing customers and hosting visitors. + Ability to understand and monitor local regulations. + Capability to handle official registrations and track timelines. + Knowledge of certification processes for regulated products. – as an asset. + Experience in managing certifications and ensuring timely renewals. - as an asset. + Proficiency in using IT systems and tools for data and project management e.g. SAP – nice to have. + Emirati nationality is preferred.
