**Guest Services Coordinator, The American Club** _Work Mode: Onsite_ **Location:** Kohler, WI **Opportunity** Provide guests with information and services in a prompt, courteous manner that optimizes guest satisfaction while contributing to the positive image and profitability of The American Club or other Kohler hotel. Assist in the oversight and training of new Guest Services and Concierge associates. Specific responsibilities include: + Make reservations for future or in-house guests for dining, spa, golf, wellness activities, River Wildlife outdoor activities, and transportation. + Provide guests with daily hotel tours. + Assist with guest check in/out as needed. + Oversee bell stand, receiving telephone messages and taking appropriate action. + Valet or retrieve guest’s vehicle if requested or give directions to parking areas for self-park. + Plan and supervise organization and implementation of group luggage handling and/or storage (i.e. labeling and locking), and execute delivery. + Supervise execution of group transports. + Prepare and process Conference Services gratuity forms for luggage handling. + Attend weekly Sales/Conference Services meetings, as needed. + Attend pre-conference meetings on behalf of Guest Services, as needed. + Oversee the resume binder to stay informed of any group needs for the Guest Service department (amenity, luggage pulls, transportation needs, bus arrivals/departures, etc.).Assist with coordinating security detail as needed for events and VIP guests. + Oversee marquees for accurate and organized presentation of information. + Maintain a working knowledge of all resort properties and onsite facilities including hoursof operation, as well as daily activities and area attractions. Also have a detailedknowledge of the history of Kohler and the assigned hotel. + Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and history. + Provide directions and maps, including walking trails, city map, or state maps. Alsoprovide guest with weather or road conditions. + Supervise amenity order taking and delivery scheduling + Supervise and implement group amenities. + Inform other shifts of daily activities through the use of the concierge logbook or notes. + Assist with training and onboarding for new associates in Guest Services + Provide ongoing recommendations to leadership for process improvements, process enhancements, and updates on local attractions and competition. + Assist with scheduling and ensuring appropriate coverage This is a full-time position working weekdays and weekends, with shifts between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm. **Skills/Requirements** + Valid Drivers License + High school diploma or equivalent. + Must be willing to work holidays, nights and weekends. + Demonstrated knowledge of local areas strongly preferred. + Must be able to communicate written and verbally in English. + Guest/customer service experience is a plus. **_Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future._** _The hourly range for this position is $21.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
