Job DescriptionSummary
The Guest Service Representative position is responsible for interacting with guests to ensure a memorable experience throughout the ski area. This position may cover work areas such as base area, on-mountain and parking lots. This position reports to the Guest Services Manager.

Essential Job Functions
Greet guests and maintain a friendly and helpful attitude dealing with guest needsBe able to answer questions, promote and offer information about the resort and surrounding areaSet-up, operate, maintain and breakdown work area while ensuring a safe and neat environmentAssist in the upkeep and maintenance of the outdoor areas for which the base operations department is responsibleMaintain a working knowledge of the resort's weather conditions, snow reports, base area locations, and special eventsEnsures everyone enters and exits the resort in an organized manner at the end of a long busy dayPerform daily counts of parking lots and abandoned vehiclesReport complaints and guest concerns to supervisor in a timely mannerCollect, handle and store ski/snowboard equipmentConduct market research surveys with on-site guests when necessaryPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic computer skillsKnowledge of guest service industry or ski resort industryAbility to maintain a working knowledge of the resort's weather conditions, snow reports, base area locations, and special eventsAbility to be flexible with your schedule and be willing to work weekends, holidays, long hoursAbility to handle and manage confidential informationAbility to possess a professional appearance at all timesCan handle fast paced, potentially high-pressure environmentExcellent verbal communication skillsAdditional InformationWork Environment and Physical Demands
