Overview At the Hyatt Place Athens/Downtown, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for every guest. We’re looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Guest Service Agent to join our front desk team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests. Your primary responsibilities include welcoming guests, checking them in and out, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Aspects of responsibility Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly manner Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately Handle reservations and room assignments using hotel software Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams as needed Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation Process payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and room charges Qualifications Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation software (e.g., Opera, PMS) Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Professional appearance and demeanor Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
