Guest Experience Shift Lead

As we prepare to open our doors, we’re looking for passionate, guest-focused leaders to help shape the experience and set the standard for excellence from day one. **About the Role:** As a **Guest Experience Shift Lead** you will help ensure every visit to our attraction is unforgettable playing a hands-on role in daily operations and supporting our front-line team in delivering world-class customer service. You’ll also help develop and inspire team members to be “guest obsessed” while maintaining a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead, motivate, and support the Guest Experience team to provide exceptional service. + Delegate daily assignments and monitor team performance. + Serve as the Supervisor on Duty and step into host roles as needed. + Assist in managing guest flow and queues safely and efficiently. + Handle guest issues and concerns with professionalism and care. + Organize and deliver training programs for all front-line team members; maintain training records. + Coach team members, provide feedback, and escalate issues when necessary. + Support various department projects, including audits, employee engagement, and development initiatives. + Uphold all health, safety, and operational standards. **What We’re Looking For:** + High School diploma or GED required; customer service experience preferred. + Six months or more experience in attractions, entertainment, or other service-oriented industries is a plus. + Fun, outgoing, and approachable with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment individually and as part of a team. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. **Benefits** **Benefits of Merlin Entertainments** + Excellent health care options (medical, dental, and vision that encourage preventative care). + Outstanding Paid Time Off (PTO) that allows for adventure, rest, relaxation, or recuperation. + Merlin Magic Pass for friends and family to enjoy the parks & attractions + Recognition Programs and Rewards + 401(k) program with company match + Tuition reimbursement programs + Numerous learning and advancement opportunities **Pay Range** USD $17.50/Hr.
