Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The Quality Assurance organization has an opportunity for a GTFA Program Quality Leader in the Commercial Engines Program Quality team. The Program quality leader will drive the quality performance of the new Geared Turbo Fan programs through the development, certification, and production engine cycles from a proactive approach. You will engage the engineering and quality teams to find opportunities and drive improvements within the manufacturing base (internal and external to P&W). This also includes regular support and interaction with Airbus applying APQP methodology in all you do. **What You Will Do:** + Support MRL progression on customer critical parts. + Risk mitigation plans for design and process failure modes impacting deliveries. + Application of APQP principles within the supply chain and mod centers. + Support the programs on all critical Class I ECs, NPI, and transitions. + Support the Quality team via the joint improvement plan (PW/Airbus joint review). + Support Airbus on all APQP activities including quarterly IQRs. + Drive KPC, QNLI, COPQ, and MRL planning to meet business goals and targets. + Support IPIT and MIPT including MCAB and VCAB meetings for program quality. + Travel may be up to 20%. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience. **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Sound business judgment, strong organization, leadership, team building, communications, writing and presentation proficiency. + Proven performance of past productivity and a high degree of computer literacy. + Broad knowledge of quality, engineering, procurement and manufacturing disciplines; specific knowledge of quality system requirements including AS9100 and continuous improvement methodologies. + Knowledge of the PW Quality Management System and supplier quality management are preferred including in APQP methodology. + Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities. + High energy, dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement. + Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of management and external customers Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner. **Learn More and Apply:** What is my role type? This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
