Job Title: MS Transition Execution
Job Summary: The MS Transition Lead is responsible for the safe landing of the deal on the ground management, implementation and planning of Deals transitions, ensuring that they run effectively leading transition for Managed Services deals for one of the following portfolios:
Risk and Fin Crime, Grants & Learning Managed Services, Tech, Cyber and Point Solutions, TFO, GCR, Payroll & Mobility, ESG and Sustainability, Finance Managed Services .
This role is responsible for governance within the transition programs they are responsible for, including assessing risks within the transitions and producing plans for how to mitigate them
Essential Functions of the Job:
The Transition Execution Manager would be required to drive client-focused and contextually aligned conversations to build strong relationships with Client teams, and thereby bring about valuable business & project outcomes & capabilities for the client as well as the organization Will be accountable for managing transition (planned) costs and transition tools revenue alongside managing /reporting margin impact during the Transition journey. Leverage global insights by constantly innovating through internal/external intelligence. The Transition Lead should understand Market / Industry realities, opportunities and threats and build an awareness of the domain, products, and service lines within the industry. Lead & manage the Transformation program set up through to delivery of the new capabilities, realization of outcomes/benefits, and closure for strategic deals Take on personal responsibility to mentor team on Transition skills of the future to drive digital led solutions. The TL must embrace a diverse team, should lead by example, and strive towards creating leaders who are equally keen to acquire new skills and to stay abreast with the changing world. Lead Strategic/ Functional development initiatives aligned with functional imperatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives to closure TL’s will be expected to display a thorough understanding of AI and position those credibly during client interactions and drive implementation of digital solutions during transitions Bring in thought leadership, ability to deal with ambiguity, assertiveness, be bold and confident.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
Analyze transition requirements and develop comprehensive strategies. Make decisions on the best approach to implement transition plans. Evaluate and select appropriate methodologies and frameworks for transitions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Supervision Responsibilities:
Act independently with minimal supervision. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Assign work and review performance of team members as needed. Assign work for their particular portfolio team which would consist of 10-14 people
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Good knowledge of transition strategies, planning, and implementation. Good understanding of standard, industrial methodologies and frameworks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in transition strategy and planning or a related field. Proven track record of day to day management of successful transitions. Experience working with Managed Services technologies and solutions.
