**Description**
The Growth Marketing Director, Asia, acts as a single point of contact for select markets. They identify capability gaps along the Growth Marketing funnel and develop roadmaps to address them. They own a portfolio of projects end-to-end and function while serving as an extension of local teams in the execution of other initiatives.
To be effective, the Growth Marketing Director, Asia, will build relationships across Marketing, Distribution, and Product functions at the local and regional levels. Their remit relates closely to the Manulife’s Buy, Engage, and Sell journeys.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ **Acquisition:** Drive sales through an effective channel mix for internal external lead sources. Ensure effective allocation to distributors with contextual information available through internal
+ **Propositions:** Incubate and operationalize new offerings, localize propositions for new markets, Work closely with regional and local Analytics and Product teams to sharpen customer segmentation and close gaps in the existing proposition offering.
+ **Engagement:** Develop outcome-driven programmatic and/or agent-led nurturing journeys. Identify targets
**Enable local markets:** Operate as an extension of local Marketing and Distribution teams. Fill capability and capacity gaps as needed, whether as subject matter expert or in a project management role. Support last mile execution, including distributor engagement and training, activation campaigns, and product development.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with distribution in the insurance industry
+ Experience in digital consumer services, preferably in wealth and/or health-related services
+ Demonstrated experience developing and executing digital strategies or programs
+ Experience managing and negotiating with outside agencies and third-party vendors.
+ Technology-savvy, with keen interest in emerging technologies and a rich understanding of evolving customer needs in Wealth, Health & Wellness.
+ Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects from concept to completion.
+ Commercial acumen and an analytical approach to identifying and evaluating opportunities.
+ Compelling communication skills: Expresses ideas and shares information clearly and concisely, modifies approach as necessary and conveys compelling messages and builds (rational/emotional) connection with others. Strong Powerpoint and pitch presentation skills. Comfortable communicating with Executives at the most senior levels within the organization.
+ Influence & Persuasiveness: Moves others towards a position (point of view), with or without authority, by setting expectations, and communicating expertise and a compelling rationale with an enterprise-wide mindset.
+ Knowing the Business: Stays current on Manulife's strategy, key priorities, capabilities, and resources; appropriately translates knowledge of the industry, customer and business into new approaches and solutions.
+ Adaptable: Effectively adapts and supports integrated change to achieve desired results; champions an environment that motivates and inspires necessary action with confidence during times of change.
