The opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join QBE’s Group Head Office People team for a parental leave cover role, where you’ll collaborate closely with regional counterparts across the enterprise to deliver upon our global talent strategy and ambitions.


As the Group Talent Management Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving enterprise-wide talent management and development initiatives. This includes running the global talent and succession cadence and contributing to meaningful work within the Group Career & Capability Team—helping to build a strong, future-ready organization.

Your new role

Lead the global talent and succession planning cadence, ensuring alignment with key people priorities

Act as a subject matter expert and thought leader in talent strategy, assessment methodology, systems, and enablement

Deliver high-impact reporting for executive and board audiences

Ensure governance and compliance across global talent activities

Build strong relationships across the People function and senior stakeholders

Bring external insights to inform and evolve our talent practices

Manage vendor relationships and ensure successful program delivery

Use data to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement

Champion a high-performing global Talent Community of Practice

About you

Proven experience in organisational psychology, talent management or organisational development

Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills

A strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into action

Excellent communication and storytelling skills across audiences

A passion for continuous improvement and future-focused thinking

Experience managing complex programs and external partnerships
