Group Sales Associate 

 

About the role: 

The Group Sales Associate will support the functions of the Sales Team to ensure that all departments using Delphi (rooms, catering, reservations, accounting, banquets, etc.) are in compliance with corporate standards. Ideally this would be an on-site position but open to hybrid role (dependent on location) with the ability to travel to the property as needed. 

 

What you will do:  

Responding to general inquiries and the preparation of proposals and contracts. 

Coordinating and processing group documents including contracts, addendums, amendments, pick-up reports, attrition reports, and other information related to group business. 

Answering phones, responding to email, and directing incoming leads or inquiries to appropriate managers. 

Maintain organized sales records and documentation. Systems administration and access. 

Working with staff members from other departments such as marketing, finance, catering, and leisure sales. 

Responsible for daily/weekly reporting duties via current hotel systems: working knowledge of Delphi preferred. 

Assist Directors/Managers with preparations related to travel, site visits and other business-related client engagement opportunities. 

What you bring:  

1+ year of experience in sales and marketing preferred.  

Must have working knowledge of computers and systems, experience with Opera preferred. 

The candidate must be flexible, cooperative, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while being a team player. 

Must demonstrate good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 

This role has direct contact with employees and guests and as such good communication skills are a necessity. 

Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.  Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Schedule & Hours:  

This is a full-time position.   

A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, and the ability to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
