Role Description:  

Following its separation from Kantar Group and acquisition by H.I.G., Kantar Media is entering a pivotal growth phase. CEO Patrick Béhar and Interim CFO Giles Richardson are seeking an accomplished Group Reporting Lead to support the transition to a standalone business.

Reporting to the Group financial controller, this strategic role will lead the development of a best-in-class Group Finance function—focusing on reporting, processes, and systems. The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded finance leader with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of preparing the business for future exit and ensuring smooth post-exit integration.

Much of the separation groundwork is complete, and support from Kantar Group will continue via service agreements

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare the monthly and quarterly Group reporting to the Board.Support the preparation Group year-end and interim financial statements under IFRS.Ensure accurate and timely internal and external financial reporting, including quarterly shareholder reporting and bondholder reporting.Prepare UK statutory accounts and manage the audit process for Group and UK statutory financial statements.Provide financial information to the Group's banking syndicate, including covenant calculations.

Group Consolidations:

Complete the monthly consolidation process in OneStream system ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely reporting of group results by issuing monthly instructionsTrack and enforce adherence to timetables by collaborating with business units.Balance sheet and cash flow, ensure accurate reporting of company-level balance sheet and cash flow, building in robust review processes with regional teams. Strong governance and support of intangible assets, particular on development of new services, products and platforms.Review Group consolidations for statutory reporting purposes.Prepare group accounting entries, including holding company accounting.  Specific area covered will include Intercompany, Equity / controllable accounts analysis, IFRS 16 corrections, Overlay of Goodwill / FV intangibles, CTA proof and NCI and SOCIE corrections.

Audit Management:

Assist the external and internal audit processes, ensuring a smooth and effective process.Provide and advise external auditors on annual financial statements and related disclosures.With Technical accountant manage planning and deliverables for the Audit Committee.

Compliance and Controls:

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards.Reconcile key balances and prepare supporting schedules for comprehensive group reporting.Conduct periodic analytical reviews of consolidated Group income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.Oversee the UK and international control environment through review of finance team input and preparation of control schedules.Identify and drive process improvements for Group holding entities.

Project Leadership:

Lead or support ad hoc Group Finance related projects as required. For example, support M&A and other significant corporate development activities, such as capital programmes, restructuring, investments and partnershipsSupport the implementation and embedding of OneStream, including new policies, processes, and controls.Development, operate and control of the OneStream consolidation and reporting system.

Required

Professionally qualified (ACA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in a Group Role.Strong technical accounting skills with external financial statement preparation experience, including cash flow preparation.Experience of working with the OneStream finance system.Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, including current and upcoming accounting standards.Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting system knowledge.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and spoken.Ability to collaborate and build relationships across the business.Resilient - able to work under pressure and to deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Approachable, confident, and personable.
