We are searching for the best talent for a Group Medical Director, Multiple Myeloma. This hybrid position will be located in Horsham, PA.
This person will be responsible for leading an in-house medical team and will manage a team of 2 or 3 Directors. This person will work with the Multiple Myeloma and Therapeutic Area Lead (TAL), Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team, Integrated Evidence Team Leader (IETL), Real World Value & Evidence (RWVE), Scientific and Medical Communication teams, US Commercial team, and the Global Medical Affairs Leader (GMAL).
Key responsibilities include:
+ Partnering with the US Commercial team, MM TAL and IETL to develop and execute a medical affairs strategy that aligns with and supports the US commercial strategy for an asset.
+ Serving as the key point person and partner in US Medical Affairs for the US Commercial team.
+ Collaborating with the MM TAL and IETL to identify and address evidence generation needs to support the brand strategy.
+ Collaborating with the GMAL to ensure that US Medical Affairs strategy is aligned with the Global Medical Affairs strategy.
+ Partnering with the MM TAL, Scientific Communications and Medical Information leads to ensure that the strategic publication and scientific communications plans address the needs of the asset.
+ Collaborating with US MSL leads to co-formulate and ensure US medical affairs strategy and execution is aligned with the field team.
+ Managing and overseeing the Medical Director team for the asset.
Qualifications:
+ An MD, DO, PharmD or PhD is required.
+ A minimum of seven years of Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Research & Development experience or equivalent academic clinical hematology or oncology experience is required.
+ Knowledge of and experience in the multiple myeloma therapeutic area is required.
+ Experience with medical strategy or pathway development is strongly preferred.
+ A demonstrated track record of contributing to and leading cross-functional teams, working effectively in a matrix environment, collaborating effectively with Commercial partners, and thinking in a strategic manner, are required.
+ People management experience is desired.
+ This position requires up to 15% annual travel (primarily domestic).
