Job Description

What You'll do?


Executes deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. Guides of one of the key areas within the Global Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives.

Position communicates to all levels of the organization, within the function as well as other functions and suppliers Position is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers

Responsibilities

Understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead cross-functional teams to resolve them with minimal impact to vehicle production.

Assess supplier schedules and their impact on vehicle assembly production.

Collaborate cross-functionally to develop creative solutions.

Summarize critical issues and resolutions and communicate them to leadership.

Handle complex capacity constraint issues with the goal of eliminating potential plant disruptions and reducing premium transportation.

Analyze metrics related to supplier critical issues and sufficiency plan resolution.

Work flexible hours, including extended and non-core hours, to ensure issues are resolved.

Travel to plant locations as needed to support launch and build-out activities.

Problem-solve complex issues and implement new and innovative strategies.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of supply chain functions.

On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Computer Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, all engineering related or related experience.

1–3 years of experience in related fields.

Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens or Allen Bradley) and industrial networks.

Basic programming skills in Python or C++.

Intermediate English

Availability to work on a rotating 4X3 shift schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a technical mindset.

Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and communicate with diverse teams.

Experience with integration into SCADA or MES systems.

Familiarity with autonomous navigation technologies such as Lidar or vision systems.
