**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Menlo Park, CA location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
As the Group Engineering Lead, you’ll define, plan, coordinate and integrate activities associated with continuous improvement projects for existing products or commercializing new product. These activities include coordination of projects, material vendors for changes, manufacturing process changes, and other manufacturing/operations activities associated with commercializing new products or changing existing products.
**What You’ll Work On**
+ Coordinate cross functional teams and activities associated with launching new products or changing existing products.
+ Coordination activities from engineering development or existing product change requests through launch or change implementation for all configurations and markets.
+ Develop and maintain project plans such that needed deliverables and testing are completed.
+ Help to prioritize activities among several programs to balance resource availability, program status and schedule, and business need.
+ Hold regular project meetings to coordinate and document all activities with functional areas including Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations, R&D, Commercial and Finance.
+ Document meeting minutes, action lists, tracking lists and open issues. Work with functional team to anticipate and solve problems.
+ Participate in review meetings representing project team. Responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the quality system.
+ Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.
+ This position is responsible for project planning and execution by coordinating activities across all departments for the successful and timely launch of a quality product meeting business strategies.
+ This position has a direct impact on the timeliness and preparation of product launches.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a engineering or a technical discipline.
+ Six or more years of relevant experience is required including knowledge of Program Management tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
+ Good interpersonal and presentation skills are required in leading cross-function team and communicating project status.
+ Experience with engineering and root cause investigations for process improvements, variability reduction, and nonconformances
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in product development or manufacturing in a medical device product is desirable.

The base pay for this position is $98,000.00 – $196,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
