Group Coordinator Lead

The core responsibilities of this role include:

\n

• Support day-to-day operations as the primary backup to the supervisor
• Assist with directing workflow and prioritizing tasks in alignment with productivity and safety goals
• Provide on-the-floor support during equipment usage
• Contribute to the onboarding and cross-training of associates on site-specific procedures and equipment
• Serve as the go-to resource for interpreting and enforcing work instructions
• Collaborate with inventory, customer service, and leadership to resolve operational or service-related issues
• Identify potential process improvements and communicate feedback to site leadership
• Engage in physical tasks as needed, including picking will calls and moving products up to 70 lbs
• Operate a stand up forklift and yard equipment as needed to support daily workflow
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment in accordance with site safety protocols

Position: Group Coordinator Lead
Shift: 1st shift 5:30 AM –; 4 PM Monday –; Thursday
Pay: $21.50 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

\n

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook to manage and track operational data
• Familiarity with SAP or similar warehouse management systems used by customers
• Experience using or supporting Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as JDA
• Ability to remain adaptable and step into office-based tasks as needed, including inventory or customer service support
• Strong situational awareness with a focus on identifying and resolving safety or operational issues in real time
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to guide peers and relay feedback constructively
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a track record of dependability, accountability, and decision-making
• Physical stamina and comfort working in a labor-intensive environment (tire handling, manual picks, etc.)
• A growth mindset with a desire to progress into future supervisory roles

Role Purpose:

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities:

Conduct training for new associates.Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.Monitor performance of associates within the work group.Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience:

6-12 months warehouse experience6-12 months forklift operation experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, preferredForklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
