Group Coordinator - Caribe Hilton

The famous Caribe Hilton is looking for a Group Coordinator to join their Front Office team. With over 65,000 sq ft of flexible event space, 4 ballrooms and 24 meeting rooms with the ability to host up to 3,000 attendees, and only seven miles from San Juan airport with a flight time of four hours from most major US cities, this is Puerto Rico’s perfect spot.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 1 year in customer service, are bilingual, and have previous experience working in hotels.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, some weekends may be needed

\n

Pay Rate: $14 per hour

What will I be doing?

\n

As Groups Coordinator, you will perform routine procedures in order to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction and will work to develop future and repeat business opportunities in groups. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nReceives and enters in all contracts in the system\nReceives and enters in all rooming lists\nworks with Pass Key\nFocuses on Rooming list and cut-off dates\nLiaison with sale, group events managers\nAttends group pick up meetings\nWorks with Marketing Analyst to ensure blocks in R&I are balanced with Delphi\nOversees addendum to contracts\nWorks with group clients to ensure they receive pick-up reports, rooming list, etc.\nManage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times\nUnderstand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates\nMonitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business\nManage administrative requests as directed by the Management Team\nManage an events schedule to maximize yield\nBuild strong relationships with customers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively\nReservations policies and procedures are followed to ensure Guest satisfaction\n
