We’re hiring a Group Accountant to join our Group Finance function based in Edinburgh. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, at a global level, within a high-performing finance team in one of the world’s leading fintech firms.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll play a key part in our financial reporting processes while supporting the full breadth of the Group Finance team’s responsibilities. This is a varied and dynamic role where you’ll build your experience across month-end close, intercompany accounting, and financial analysis.

Day to day, you’ll:

Maintain accurate and complete general ledger records for Group entitiesSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activitiesReconcile and substantiate balance sheet accountsAssist with monthly Board reporting, including variance and performance analysisMonitor and review Group financial performance against budgetContribute to consolidated financial statements and external audit deliverablesCalculate intercompany recharges, reconcile balances, and support compliance with transfer pricing policiesLiaise with Group Tax and other teams on intercompany transactionsAssist in enhancing controls and ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies

What we’re looking for:

This role is perfect for a newly qualified accountant or someone with equivalent experience ready to step into a dynamic, commercially focused finance role.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditStrong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)Confidence managing your own workload and meeting deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsA proactive and analytical mindset with a drive for quality

Bonus points if you also have:

A professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW or equivalent) – or qualified by experienceExperience preparing statutory or management accountsWorking knowledge of IFRS and group consolidationExperience with finance systems such as Nav, D365 or data tools like Qlik
