Groundsperson - RAAF Base Amberley

We currently have an opportunity for entry level Grounds person.  Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in the delivery of day-to-day operational Land Management Services. Reporting to Land Management Coordinator, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

 

What You’ll Do (key responsibilities)

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Mowing

Brush cutting

Edging

Pruning

General gardening

Green waste clearing and removal

Weed, Pest & Disease control

 

What You’ll Bring (experience required)

Preferred demonstrable experience in grounds maintenance and experience in operating grounds maintenance equipment

Able to perform inherent physical requirements of the role

Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)

Vehicle and valid Open Class Drivers Licence

Medium Rigid Truck Licence (desirable)

Chainsaw Operators Licence or Certificate (desirable) 

ChemCert Certificate (preferred)

Asbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred)
