Up to £14 per hour

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Grinder & Deburrer to join a well-established machining and fabrication specialist based in the B33 area of Birmingham.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for using a 4-axis angle grinder to dress mild steel and aluminium welds, preparing parts for powder coating. You'll be working as part of a skilled team producing high-quality fabricated components.

Key Responsibilities:Grinding, deburring, and dressing welds on mild steel and aluminiumPreparing components for powder coatingEnsuring all work meets quality and safety standardsWorking from job sheets and verbal instructionsUsing hand tools and power tools confidently and safelyRequirements:Proven experience as a Grinder/DeburrerCompetent with 4-axis angle grindersExperience with mild steel and aluminiumGood attention to detail and ability to work independentlyKnowledge of fabrication processes is desirableHours & Pay:Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30Friday: 07:00 - 13:00Pay up to £14.00 per hour, depending on experienceBenefits:All PPE providedOngoing support from the Pertemps teamLong-term opportunity with a reputable employerInterested?
