JOB DESCRIPTION This position entails a dual role that supports the Agronomy Department. This dual role entails maintenance of the golf course as well as support tasks for the mechanical team supporting the equipment used for the maintenance of the golf grounds. The candidate will support both the Assistant Superintendent of Agronomy and the Equipment Manager.   KEY COMPETENCIES: Initiative Technically inclined Flexibility Multi-Tasking Sense of Urgency Must be able to work independently and be a strong problem-solver WHAT YOU WILL DO: Complete assigned tasks within given time limits Drive a maintenance vehicle Drive a tractor Operate several different types of mowers Perform manual labor as needed such as: Hand-watering areas without irrigation Rake bunkers Snow removal Assist with handling preventative maintenance, repairs, and setup of all equipment and licensed vehicles used by the crew at the ground's maintenance facility Inspect, replace/repair a wide variety of machinery used to keep the golf grounds in good condition.
