The Grassroots Engagement Director will identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders, mobilize them to take action, and drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all. How You Will ContributeWork with community leaders to educate the public on critical policy issues and legislation that are Libre's priority initiativesBe the brand ambassador and local face for the LIBRE Initiative in your communityPlan, promote, and execute large public facing eventsYou care about people and are able to build relationships quickly with people from all walks of life and understand how to inspire and motivate themSelf-motivated, always looking for the best way to use your time to accomplish objectivesOrganized, able to keep multiple events and activities on track for yourself and the people you engage to help youWork well with a team of people, including LIBRE staff and activists you engageReady and willing to canvass neighborhoods and make phone calls for LIBRE priority initiatives and LIBRE Action endorsed candidates, as well as motivate and coordinate volunteers to do the sameWhat You Will BringA deep belief in people-empowering, bottom-up, public policy solutions that limit the coercive nature of government and empower individuals to pursue their American DreamLeadership skills! We need someone with strong people skills and humility to embrace our growth-focused cultureComfort and confidence working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment independent of direct supervision or direction.
