Graphic Designer (Contract)

What does a Graphic Designer do at Hogarth?

As a Graphic Designer at Hogarth, you'll be a key creative force, shaping the visual identity and communication for our client. You'll work closely with our design and copywriting teams to deliver impactful campaigns across various platforms.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Multi-Platform Design: Produce a wide range of print and digital assets, including advertisements, marketing collateral, web banners, website layouts, and social media content, ensuring technical accuracy and visual appeal. Brand Consistency: Develop compelling communications for client's direct, in-store, and digital channels, always maintaining brand integrity and fostering a seamless customer journey. Creative Leadership: Provide expert design and communication guidance to internal business units and external agency partners, ensuring brand alignment.

Day-to-Day Contributions:

Concept to Creation: Translate project requirements into visual concepts, meticulously planning layouts and illustrating designs. High-Quality Output: Deliver polished, near-press-ready designs and layouts that meet professional standards. Brand Adherence: Consistently apply strict brand, design, and communication guidelines to all work. Agile Design: Demonstrate patience and efficiency in iterating designs rapidly to meet evolving project needs. Project Coordination: Collaborate effectively with external vendors like agencies, art services, and printers to ensure timely project completion. Team Collaboration: Actively contribute to the overall success and positive environment of the design team.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills: Proven graphic design and layout expertise, strong creative services background, customer focus, and meticulous attention to detail. Technical Mastery: Proficiency across the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver/other code editor, After Effects, and Premiere. Work Ethic: Deadline-oriented, flexible, and capable of handling feedback professionally. Communication Prowess: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation abilities, and effective interpersonal skills. Mindset: A positive, resilient, and proactive problem-solver.

Highly Valued (But Not Required):

1-2 years of experience in art direction and copywriting (we welcome fresh graduates too!). Familiarity with HTML and CSS. Experience in video editing or motion graphics. Strong English language base or copywriting skills. UX background or awareness.
