Thales Design Center Singapore is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our dynamic team!

Overview 

Innovation and Strategic Design have become essential drivers of user-centered transformation at Thales. To achieve seamless customer experiences, operational efficiency, and strategic impact, we embed human-centered design methodologies into our approach to innovation. 

The Design Center Singapore, operating under the Innovation Hub, was founded in 2014 to engage customers in co-creation, design thinking, and service innovation. We work across digital and physical touchpoints to design experiences that improve usability, efficiency, and business outcomes. 

Responsibilities

Visual Communication & Branding

Design and develop visual assets such as infographics, presentation decks, posters, reports, and social media content.Contribute to the visual identity of the Thales Design Center, ensuring consistency and creativity across all platforms.Support the creation of visuals for customer experience journeys, frameworks, and ecosystem maps.

Project Support & Co-Creation

Work closely with service and strategic designers to translate insights and strategies into compelling visuals.Assist in the visual design of materials used in design thinking workshops, co-creation sessions, and storytelling deliverables.Help shape wireframes, layouts, or low-fidelity visual prototypes where needed to support concept development.

Collaboration & Creative Exploration

Participate in team brainstorming and ideation sessions, offering visual ideas and design suggestions.Experiment with various styles, layouts, and formats to find innovative ways to communicate complex topics clearly.Engage with the team in shaping an innovation culture through visual engagement and storytelling.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or related field.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Experience with Figma is a plus.A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual storytelling, layout design, and attention to detail.A creative mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and communicate concepts visually.Team player with good communication skills and an openness to feedback and iteration.Bonus: Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D design tools is a plus.
