Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health has an opening for a Grants & Projects Analyst 1 (GPA1) in Carson City within the Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Section. This position is responsible for coordinating program/fiscal activities for the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) and fiscal activities for the Teen Pregnancy Prevention program units. The GPA1 is responsible for providing technical assistance and consultation in the areas of fiscal monitoring and oversight and quality improvement. The incumbent will be responsible for significant budget oversight including tracking and reconciling grant expenditures for multiple grants on different project periods. They will assist with tracking State authority to spend funds within the State fiscal year and notify leadership if authority issues are suspected. The position develops, implements, and evaluates objectives and procedures for the PRAMS Program and ensures program activities are conducted in compliance with rules and regulations.
