Grant Analyst
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Grant Analyst to join our team in Youngstown, Ohio. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a critical role in overseeing grant processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing the financial management of grant-funded initiatives. Responsibilities: • Review and evaluate grant proposals, applications, and agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives. • Monitor and manage grant budgets and expenditures, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately and meet funding guidelines. • Conduct financial analyses and create comprehensive reports for internal teams, funders, and auditors. • Track and manage grant deliverables, timelines, and reporting deadlines to maintain compliance. • Support program staff in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for grant-funded projects. • Maintain precise records of grant awards, amendments, disbursements, and closeout documentation. • Collaborate with auditors, finance personnel, and program teams to promote transparency and accountability. • Identify and address risks, discrepancies, or compliance issues, offering actionable recommendations. • Stay informed on federal, state, and private grant regulations and best practices to ensure organizational adherence. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred for advanced roles. • Strong knowledge of grant management principles, including compliance and financial reporting. • Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting, with excellent attention to detail. • Familiarity with federal, state, and private grant regulations and policies. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams. • Experience with financial software and tools is highly desirable. • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Credit Risk Management, or related areas is a plus.
