Description We are looking for a skilled Grant Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this contract role, you will play a key part in securing and managing grant funding to support the organization's mission. The ideal candidate will have experience in grant writing, compliance, and budget management, as well as strong collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Research and identify grant opportunities that align with the organization’s goals and priorities.
• Prepare and submit detailed grant applications, proposals, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop compelling narratives and utilize relevant data to strengthen funding requests.
• Track deadlines and maintain an organized grants calendar for applications and reporting.
• Monitor compliance with grant terms, conditions, and regulatory requirements.
• Generate and submit accurate reports to funding agencies within specified timelines.
• Collaborate with finance teams to create and manage grant budgets, ensuring expenditures align with funding guidelines.
• Partner with internal departments to gather necessary information for grant applications and compliance.
• Provide regular updates to leadership about grant progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Implement process improvements to enhance grant management efficiency and streamline workflows. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, finance, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing and grant management.
• Strong proficiency in budget development and financial tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals.
• Familiarity with grant compliance regulations and reporting requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with leadership.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for grant management and reporting.
