Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Grant Analyst to join our team in Long Island City, New York. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will play a vital part in managing government contracts and ensuring accurate billing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial reporting and grant-related functions. Responsibilities: • Prepare and submit billing information for government contracts through various online portals. • Analyze financial reports to determine accurate billing amounts. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with all grant-related requirements. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting software systems and their application to billing processes. • Assist in managing benefit functions and budget processes related to grants. • Ensure timely and accurate reporting for all grant activities. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in billing or financial reporting. • Work closely with stakeholders to improve grant management procedures. • Monitor and track grant expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets. Requirements • Proven experience with accounting software systems and financial processes. • Strong understanding of government grant regulations and billing procedures. • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports. • Familiarity with budget planning and management processes. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. • Attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies. • Experience in benefit functions related to grant management is a plus.
