Description A growing company is looking for an experienced Grant Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, California, for a long-term contract position! This role requires an individual with extensive expertise in grant administration, compliance, and financial management across various sectors. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring successful grant lifecycle management while collaborating with stakeholders and navigating complex deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple grants, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and sector-specific guidelines. • Provide technical expertise to grantees and internal teams, acting as a trusted advisor on grant administration. • Review and monitor subaward invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to pass-through grant requirements. • Prepare budget modifications and amendments for funders while monitoring grant budgets. • Conduct financial analysis, including cost allocation planning and projections, to support future planning. • Manage a portfolio of pass-through grants, each with numerous subawards, while handling conflicting deadlines and shifting priorities. • Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting, ensuring accurate and actionable insights. • Interpret general ledger and grant-level financial statements to ensure accurate accounting and compliance. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant administration, including compliance and technical expertise. • Proven knowledge of federal grant regulations and uniform guidance. • Demonstrated experience managing pass-through grants, including subaward invoicing and monitoring. • Strong skills in budget development, financial analysis, and cost allocation planning. • Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analytics and reporting. • Familiarity with accounting principles.
