The Housekeeper Position - We are looking for an individual with great attention to detail to join us as a Housekeeper on our Rooms Team. The Housekeeper spends most of the shift cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are achieved. The Job Description - The cleanliness of a hotel is one of the main reasons that keep our guests returning to and recommending our hotels to friends and family. It goes without saying that hotel housekeepers have one of the most important roles that take place in a hotel daily. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Primary duties include maintaining the overall cleanliness of the resort. The Housekeepers duties will include in all front and back of house areas: cleaning, removing trash to include in the interior and exterior guest areas, and dusting rooms; cleaning windows; lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and stairways; cleaning, changing, and folding linens and towels; wiping furniture; and mopping and vacuuming floors. Housekeepers are required to go through extensive training and assist in a deep cleaning of the resort rooms prior to the opening of the season.
