**What does a Graduate Transport Engineer do?**
As a graduate Transport Engineer, you can expect a dynamic and varied day. You'll be involved in all stages of project lifecycles, working on both small and large projects. Your tasks may include:
+ Preparation of transport impact assessments and reports (TIAR’s)
+ Engaging in diverse engineering design tasks, including creating drawings, reports, presentations, and regulatory applications.
+ Designing road, intersection, and parking layouts in MicroStation.
+ Developing designs through sketches, electronic models, and diagrams, and preparing documentation for various engineering phases.
+ Performing calculations, spreadsheet assessments, and intersection analysis using SIDRA Intersection.
+ Collecting and analyzing data, such as traffic, parking, and crash data, using tools like Excel and PowerBI.
+ Communicating with clients and maintaining ongoing contact.
+ Adhering to Stantec Core Values and Quality, Safety & Environment Systems.
+ Developing proposals and bids to support business development.
+ Conducting site surveys, investigations, and feasibility studies, sometimes outside regular hours.
+ Minimizing and controlling risk through commitment to health and safety programs and project management systems.

**About You**
+ Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil), Urban Planning or equivelant.
+ Passion for learning and problem-solving
+ Eligible to work in Australia
+ Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post graduation
