Du Pont (U.K.) Industrial Limited, where the globally recognised Kevlar® yarn is manufactured, are seeking a Graduate Engineer, to be based in Maydown, Derry / Londonderry. 

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a team dedicated to leading continuous improvement initiatives, driven by evidence-based analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Comply with company Safety, Health & Environment standards, and procedures.Develop and problem-solve processes to support the manufacture of Kevlar® yarn applications. Monitor and manage process variables to achieve efficient production.Lead or participate in front-end loading of capital projects.Lead or Participate in Process Hazards Analysis (PHAs) for existing or new processes.Apply knowledge of the Line of Business (LOB) technology to define and implement solutions for Process Safety Management (PSM), Grow and Improve projects.Lead or provide technical support for Root Cause Analysis investigations.Provide day-to-day support to operations

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

BEng degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g. Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Manufacturing) Legal right to work in the UK, without the requirement for DuPont to act as a Visa Sponsor

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

• A minimum of one year’s relevant process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
