This is a hybrid position with no travel requirements. The role is not client-facing and primarily involves collaboration with internal teams.

**What you can expect to do here:**
+ Developing and implementing WSP’s RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) Program based on Euro Norm EN50126-1 - Railway Applications - The Specification and Demonstration of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS)
+ Preparing and implementing RAM Documentation, including, but not limited to RAM Plan, RAM Requirements Document, RAM Validation Plan, and RAM Analysis Report.
+ Conducting reviews of railway system and sub-system Designs and developing Functional Block Diagram (FBD) to support the ongoing RAM analysis activities
+ Conducting RAM analysis, including, but not limited to, RAM Risk Assessment, RAM Apportionment, System Availability Modelling using RBD or FTA, RAM Prediction, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
+ Continuously evaluating and ensuring that Railway System and sub-System Designs and Equipment meet or exceed the RAM targets and propose solution to support the Safe and Reliable functionality of the Railway Systems
**What you’ll bring to WSP:**
+ A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
+ 0–2 years of experience applying RAMS engineering techniques in the railway or related industries.
+ Knowledge of relevant standards including CENELEC, CMREA, IEC, and Military Standards.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Familiarity with tools such as Reliability Workbench and Fault Tree++ is considered an asset.
+ Eligibility for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA.
**Compensation**
Salary range (in British Columbia): $67,800 - $93,200
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
