Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in civil engineering and contribute to innovative infrastructure and construction projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing engineering design tasks under the supervision of senior engineersPrepare detailed designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and working drawings for civil engineering projectsCollect and analyze site and project data to support planning and decision-makingUtilize engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) to solve problems and enhance designsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, innovative solutions for complex civil worksParticipate in site visits and fieldwork to gather critical project information and gain hands-on experienceContribute to the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and client presentationsSupport project management activities by tracking progress, budgets, and schedulesStay informed on industry trends, building codes, safety standards, and engineering regulationsAssist in developing and implementing quality control and assurance procedures on active projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institutionStrong foundation in engineering design principles and practicesExposure to civil engineering software, including AutoCAD and STAAD.ProExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailAbility to create accurate designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and working drawingsStrong data collection and analysis capabilitiesEffective time management skills to work within agreed-upon budgets and schedulesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of relevant building codes and regulationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentInnovative mindset and eagerness to learn and apply new technologiesStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyWillingness to participate in field work and site visits as requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites (preferred)Additional InformationAbout AECOM
