Product Lifecycle Engineering (PLE) at Resmed is part of the Devices Engineering function. The PLE function serves as the Design Authority for released products, taking over from the Product Development project team once a product transitions into its lifecycle phase. This includes:
Maintaining and improving existing products: PLE engineers are responsible for design improvements, creating and updating specifications and designs, ensuring continued performance and compliance.
Managing material changes and qualification: PLE engineers are responsible for verifying and validation of material or part changes at a hardware level to ensure product design envelope and specifications continue to be met.
Cross-functional collaboration: PLE engineers work closely with procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and systems engineering to translate customer needs into actionable design updates and product outcomes.

Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.
Cross functional collaboration with other teams and stakeholders within Devices team for project delivery.
Performing routine part assessments
Performing specification update and releases
Participation in Weekly and Monthly project reviews
Seek innovative ways to solve difficult and constrained problems during product lifecycle.
Find pragmatic solutions to deliver in the most efficient way possible.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experiences
Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent Engineering disciplines
Practical knowledge of 3D CAD and 2d drawings including GD&T and tolerance stack.
Practical and methodical approach to problem solving and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation creation.
Solid ability to communicate ideas effectively within team and cross collaboration within the business.
Passion in Engineering with desire to constantly improve.
PreferredMinimum of 2 years of related experience.
Follows standard practices and procedures and applies basic theories, concepts, principles and methodologies in analysing situations or data.
