naResponsibilities:This internal Black Broker Internship programme will expose the graduates/interns to the full suite of Broker activities within Old Mutual Insure, as per the below:
Lead Generation
Cold calling
Canvassing- (door to door)
Sourcing of Partnerships and Collaborations
Networking and managing external events
Admin and Housekeeping duties
Ongoing learning and acquiring of Product knowledge (e learning assessments, attendance at scheduled classes/ internal training)
Attend compulsory performance check in sessions in the afternoons (daily)
Attend various “Peer to Peer” training sessions (every Friday)
Attend product and underwriting training sessions (adhoc)
Attend and participate in the morning team meetings (daily, weekly in some regions)
Submit weekly performance and sales feedback (every Friday)
Experience, knowledge & skills required
Grade 12
Unemployed Graduates / Interns
Must be in possession of an accredited Matric Certificate with a minimum 50% score on Math’s/ Math’s Literacy and English
Must be in possession of a post Matric, Tertiary qualification , FSCA recognized 3- year qualification (Bachelor of Commerce: Financial Accounting, Business Accounting, Business Informatics Interprise Risk Management Insurance & Risk Management or Bachelor of Accountancy or Bachelor of Business Administration)
Minimum qualification is NQF Level 6
Own Transport and a valid Driver’s license Preferred
Must be based in KZN

Graduates/ Interns may not already be registered for any other Internship or Bursary programme through INSETA or any other SETA.
Graduates/Interns may not be studying or intend studying in 2025/6.
Graduates/Interns must have a clear credit & criminal record.
