Collegiate Sports The University of Indianapolis is seeking a dynamic and motivated Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Revenue Generation within its Athletics Department. This individual will play a key role in enhancing the game day experience by leading the planning and execution of in-game promotions across all UIndy athletic events. Responsibilities include activating sponsorship elements, driving ticket and group sales, and managing box office operations on game days. Additionally, the Graduate Assistant will develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to engage students, faculty, and staff, helping to elevate school spirit and support for Greyhound Athletics.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Internship or student employment working in a collegiate or professional sports environment, preferably in a marketing, promotions, ticketing, or external operations role. Understanding of marketing, tickets, and promotions strategies.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will oversee student workers or interns assisting with marketing and game day promotions.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Coordinate and execute in-game promotions to enhance fan engagement and game day atmosphere across all athletic events. Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns to increase attendance, ticket sales, and community involvement. Activate and fulfill sponsorship elements in collaboration with corporate partners. Lead efforts to promote student, faculty, and staff attendance through creative outreach and campus engagement. Support group ticket sales initiatives, including outreach, coordination, and event-day logistics. Oversee box office operations on game days, including ticketing setup and customer service. Follow the guidance and direction of supervisor(s). Demonstrate respectful, ethical, responsible behavior. Abide by the University’s policies, procedures, and rules. Perform employee responsibilities as detailed in employee handbooks and policies. Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance and punctuality. Other duties, including special projects, as required or assigned.
