Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking two FAU Graduate Assistants, Education Abroad - Boca Raton, FL. The FAU Graduate Student Assistant for the Education Abroad office supports key departmental functions related to program management, student outreach, event planning, and administrative operations. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Education Abroad, this position plays an integral role in helping students explore and prepare for study abroad opportunities, while contributing to the overall efficiency of the department. Summary of Responsibilities: + Act as the primary point of contact by responding to inquiries via email, phone, and in person. Welcome office visitors and ensure a friendly, organized, and professional front-desk presence. + Assist with scheduling appointments, advising, administration, and student support for Education Abroad provider programs. + Promote study abroad programs through on-campus outreach, advising, orientations, and tabling events. + Support events for inbound international students and outbound study abroad students. + Communicate with students, parents, and FAU faculty/staff in small or large group settings. + Assist with internal processes for Education Abroad scholarships, including communication and documentation. + Provide logistical support for signature departmental events, including the Study Abroad Fair, International Education Week, and other global engagement programming. + Contribute to other special projects or duties as assigned by Education Abroad. View it here: https://bdb.org/data/housing/ Minimum Qualifications: Degree-seeking FAU graduate student with a minimum of five credit hours (or nine if international) and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience in an office setting or customer service role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Salary: $16.00 per hour. Graduate Assistants fall under the non-exempt, hourly pay rate type.
