Job Description Summary
The Office of Admissions seeks a dynamic and energetic professional to join our team as a Graduate and Transfer Admissions Counselor. The Graduate and Transfer Admissions Counselor is a cross-functional position reporting to the Director of Graduate and Transfer Admissions. This position supports recruitment and admissions activities, reviews admissions files, and contributes to the overall goals of the office and the University’s graduate and transfer enrollment goals.
This role requires a flexible schedule, including availability for occasional evenings and weekends. A valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel are essential.
Essential Functions
Recruitment and Outreach:
+ Successfully engage in recruiting activities to attract, select, and enroll students from those areas. Activities may include representing Nazareth at college fairs, conducting off-campus interviews, serving on community college panels, and other face-to-face or virtual communication.
+ Provide accurate and comprehensive information to prospective students and families about Nazareth’s academic programs, admissions requirements, and related policies.
+ Proactively develop and maintain relationships with prospective students from the first inquiry through application and enrollment.
Application Review Process:
+ Guides prospective students through the application and admissions process.
+ Performs preliminary transfer evaluations and carefully reviews all transcripts to calculate cumulative GPA , acceptance, and scholarship tier.
+ Provides course suggestions to community college students for a seamless transfer.
+ Ensures that students and other internal constituents receive high levels of customer service across all modalities, including in-person, phone, email, and live agent interactions.
Programming:
+ Successfully leads on and off-campus information sessions for prospective students and their families to increase applications and yield.
+ Evolve and nurture relationships with key internal and external partners to enhance recruitment efforts and community engagement.
+ Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of graduate and transfer admissions events.
Operations:
+ Work with the operations team to ensure that all transfer and graduate application materials are uploaded into Slate CRM .
+ Collaborate with Nazareth’s admissions leadership to develop marketing strategies and materials for the graduate and transfer populations.
+ Monitor and manage content for the graduate and transfer admissions websites.

Required Education, Experience, Technology Applications and Skills
+ 2+ years of related experience.
+ Experience with Slate or any CRM .
+ Bachelor’s degree required

Physical Requirements
+ The position requires the ability to travel extensively, including driving long distances and carrying recruitment materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
+ Must be able to stand for extended periods during college fairs and events.

+ Proficiency with typical office equipment is necessary for this role, including computers, printers, scanners, telephones, and photocopiers.
