Our client is seeking a Gradient Mechanical Assembler to join their dynamic production team. In this role, you'll support the electronic repair department by assembling and disassembling complex medical equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to help ensure high-quality repairs and updates.
Job Title: Gradient Mechanical Assembler
Location: Peabody, MA (Facility is relocating to Salem, NH within 6 months)
Pay Range:
Schedule: Flexible Start Time (6AM-7AM)
Mon–Thu: 9 hours/day
One Friday: 8 hours
Alternate Friday: Off
What's the Job?
Assembly & Teardown: Work with detailed instructions (method sheets, blueprints, verbal guidance) to build and disassemble medical devices. Testing & Repairs: Use hand tools to perform resistance checks, pressure testing, and other diagnostic procedures. Engineering Interpretation: Read and apply complex engineering drawings and change orders. Collaboration: Work with other technicians to ensure equipment is up-to-date and meets revision standards. Workplace Standards: Keep the work area clean and safe, following safety protocols.What's Needed?
Experience: 5+ years in a related field, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Independence: Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Communication: Strong skills in following both written and verbal instructions. Software Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP or Agile is a plu Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 40bs.What's in it for me?
