Join us and build _your_ ambition. **ABOUT THE ROLE** Amrize Construction is looking for a **Seasonal Grademan** to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This role involves performing various manual labor duties on construction sites, including checking grades, minor truck and equipment maintenance, and completing pre and post-trip inspections. The Grademan will assist with cleaning up job sites and performing other tasks as needed, all while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. **WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH** + Perform pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment. + Conduct minor truck and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations. + Check grades on construction sites to ensure they meet required specifications. + Clean up sites, including shoveling, raking, and sweeping. + Assist with other labor duties as required to support the team. + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, andenvironmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent. **Required Work Experience:** Experience in checking grades and hauling trailers **Required Training/Certifications:** Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. **Required Technical Skills:** Knowledge of construction practices is an asset. **Travel Requirements:** Frequent travel between job sites within the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas **Additional Requirements:** + Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling. + Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team. + Strong communication skills. + Knowledge of construction practices. + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved PPE, including but not limited to respirators.
