About the department

You will be part of the MAPA (Market Access and Public Affairs) department at Novo Nordisk’s Iran affiliate, based in Tehran. Our team is dedicated to driving external visibility and reputation while supporting advocacy and access efforts. We work closely with policymakers, patient organisations, and media to shape a sustainable healthcare environment and enhance public understanding of chronic diseases. The atmosphere is dynamic, collaborative, and purpose-driven, with a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference for patients and the healthcare system in Iran.

The position

Building and maintaining professional relationships with members of Iranian government entities and agencies.Introducing legislative and public policy changes that support Novo Nordisk operations.Representing Novo Nordisk at industry forums and government-related events.Creating and maintaining up-to-date materials for external engagement with key policymakers and stakeholders in the healthcare system.Demonstrating behaviour consistent with the highest ethical standards and professionalism.

Qualifications

A relevant academic background, such as an MBA or a similar field.Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in Market Access, Governmental or Public Affairs, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.Fluency in both English and Farsi plus strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in navigating complex regulatory environments.
