Government Relations Manager China

This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
As a Manager of Government Relations in China, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with government entities and stakeholders in China. You will be accountable for representing Advance Material's interests and advocating for the company's goals and objectives with government officials and regulatory bodies. Your work will contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that align with Advance Material's business objectives and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and influence government policies and regulations that impact Honeywell's operations in China. Your expertise in government relations and your ability to navigate the political landscape will be critical in driving the success of our business in the region.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders in China.
+ Monitor and analyze government policies, regulations, and legislation that may impact Advance Material's operations.
+ Advocate for Advance Material's interests and objectives with government entities.
+ Provide guidance and facilitate internal teams on government relations matters.
+ Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that align with business objectives and comply with local laws and regulations.
+ Stay informed about political and economic developments in China and assess their potential impact on Advance Materials
+ Represent Honeywell in industry associations and other relevant forums.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Political Science, International Relations, or Business.
+ 6+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field.
+ Strong knowledge of the political and regulatory landscape in China.
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
+ Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
