As a Government & Capital Property Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the oversight and administering government property and capital projects. This position involves collaborating with various government entities, stakeholders, and internal cross functional partners to ensure effective property management and compliance with regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists with administering the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of propertyLearns to establish a property record for company or government property by entering pertinent property data into a tracking system and maintaining accountability from initial acquisition to final dispositionAssists with tracking the movement of property by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of ownership, accountability or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policyConducts physical inventory of property and learns to reconcile results to ensure compliance with regulations and to verify that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand.Assists in verifying that equipment servicing requirements are performed by responsible organizationsFollowing pertinent procedures, assists in the disposition of property identified by company, legal or contractual requirementsMaintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or culturesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DMCA) and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts1+ years’ experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment1+ years’ experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, supplier and/or vendors and carriersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s or higher1+ years’ experience managing Government or Capital Property1+ years of experience training on FAR and DFARS complianceDrug Free Workplace:
