The Governance and Operations Lead will manage the governance of Vodafone Egypt Foundation adhering to all audit requirements and the minimum operating standards for the Vodafone Group Foundation and Ministry of Social solidarity, which also includes quarterly board-meetings. Governance & Operations Lead is responsible for the management & execution of the foundation projects working closely with the Head of the foundation, this role drives the implementation of all on ground operations and activities as well as purposeful initiatives to increase Ta3limy’s reach and impact. This role will be the main focal point for managing Volunteer activities and initiatives by attracting internal volunteers as well as externally through managing Yala Sharek platform
What you’ll doGovernance & Monitoring and Evaluation
• Manage the governance of Vodafone Egypt Foundation, adhering to local laws & regulations & auditing requirements locally by Ministry of Social Solidarity & globally by Vodafone Foundation
• Driving the quarterly Board of Trustees meetings & reporting requirements (Content, Board decisions and documentation).
• Manage the execution, approvals & reporting of the foundation’s projects.
• Drive any necessary or requested reporting to Vodafone Group Foundation and/or Vodacom.
• Develop monitoring & evaluation system for each project (for example, Hayat Karima 300 Schools) with a risk mitigation strategy for the lives improved reporting.
• Drive and execute all monitoring & evaluation plans for each project and report it back to the board, operational team, and management.
• Support in reinforcing Vodafone’s relations with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
On-Ground Operations:
• Drive and execute all on-ground activities to increase Ta3limy’s reach and impact by providing students in public schools around Egypt with the digital Ecosystem required to efficiently utilize Ta3limy.
• Drive and implement activities with Hayat Karima initiatives, including the digitalization of a total of 550 schools by 2025/2026.
• Manage and drive any on-ground activities, partnerships and purposeful campaigns for the Foundation.
Volunteer Management:
• Drive and execute all volunteer initiatives internally to Vodafone employees to give back to the community by providing their time and effort.
• Extend volunteer opportunities to external individuals and entities to become the digital philanthropic hub.
• Develop and manage volunteer platforms and apps, such as Yala Sharek, to increase the number of Vodafone volunteers internally and launch it to external audience ensuring a simple and user-friendly experience.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Education
BA Degree in Development Studies, Political Science, Development Economics, or Public Policy.
Work Experience
• Min. 7 years of experience in development & public outreach programs.

Additional skills
