The Analytics Enablement team, part of the Enterprise Data & Analytics Services, is on a mission to transform KeyBank into an innovative, insights-driven enterprise. We empower decision-makers across the organization by supporting modern analytics tools, delivering robust training, managing metadata, and deploying next-generation analytics capabilities.
As a GCP Tools Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and advancing our analytics and advanced analytics functions to align with organizational goals. You will provide technical support, training, and innovation leadership; Especially around open-source and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about enabling data-driven decision-making and building scalable, modern analytics infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance analytics and advanced analytics technologies, with a focus on open-source and GCP-based solutions.Provide technical support and training to end-users on open-source tools and platforms.Design and implement GCP-based infrastructure to support analytics and modeling teams.Evaluate and integrate innovative technologies to enhance enterprise analytics capabilities.Partner with data scientists, solution architects, cloud engineers and business teams to design ML infrastructure, validate data quality.Ensure tight integration with BI data engineers, data architects, and ETL developers to support end-to-end analytics workflows.Guide analytics teams in selecting and integrating appropriate tools and methods for advanced modeling and decision support.Maintain a strong focus on Organizational Change Management to ensure stakeholders are appropriately engaged and empowered through communications, training, and collaboration.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, or equivalent experience.5 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or open-source computing infrastructure.4 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and services.Minimum 3 years of experience designing solutions for analytics or advanced modeling teams.Technical Skills
A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and strong mind for building strategy, streamlining processes and enabling analytics capabilities and governanceStrong experience applying architectural principles to business challenges and create technical roadmaps and requirements documentationProven track record for recognizing pain points within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundanciesAbility to understand and recognize the economics of analytics technology and the business goalsMastery of Python and data science libraries and best practices.Strong experience with GCP data warehousing and processing technologies such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.Experience with GCP storage solutions such as Cloud Storage and BigLake, and data formats like Parquet, JSON, ORC, Avro.Proficiency in databases such as DB2, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, PostgreSQL.Experience with SparkSQL, Spark MLlib, and third-party machine learning algorithms such as XGBoost and LightGBM using PySpark.Familiarity with SAS and Linux/Unix environments.Understanding of web technologies and modern data architecture.Knowledge of advanced technologies, including machine learning, NLP, and streaming analytics.Soft Skills

Exposure to or hands-on experience with other BI / visualizations platforms like Microsoft Fabric / Power BI, Tableau, and/or Looker helpfulProfessional Cloud Architect certification preferredFinancial and/or Banking background preferredKey has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment. As a result, this role may be mobile or home based, which means you may work either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties. If located near a KeyBank location, the position in the future may work partially from a Key facility. If not located near a Key facility, team will consider remote workers.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $79,000 to $120,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance
