**Golf Course Maintenance Worker, Blackwolf Run & Whistling Straits** _Work Mode: Onsite_ **Location: ** Kohler, WI **Opportunity** Maintains grounds and turf of golf coursesin playing condition as directed by Superintendent. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** 1. Perform maintenance tofairway, tee, and putting surfaces to repair ball marks and divots as well as general area cleanupto include cart paths. 1. Operates reel mowers,rotary,string trimmers, fly mower, bunker rake,hand and walking blowers, top-dressers, and aerators. 1. Rakes andmaintainssand bunkers. 1. Sets tee markers. 1. Maintains ball washers, yardage platesand out of bounds markers. 1. Rakes and removes debris from courseand surrounding areas. 1. Applies sand and seed to divots onteesand in fairways and drop areas. 1. Perform selective weed removal and planting to native grasses/prairie areas, as directed. 1. Perform general maintenance/laborincludingseeding/sodding - hand labor, hand watering, quick couplers, shoveling, raking, sweeping, painting, equipment cleaning, and building cleaning. 1. Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipmenton a daily basis; reports equipment problems or failures to the mechanic immediately. 1. Cleans and returns all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility; and cleans the maintenance areas. 1. Follows proper safety protocol at all times. 1. Perform other duties as assigned. **Skills/Requirements** + Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbal and written. + Mustpossessexcellent communication skills, both verbal and written. + Entry level position. + Ability to use hand and power tools necessary. + Operates under constant supervision. **_Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future._** _The hourly range for this position is $13.00 - $16.00.
