Job Description

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you will utilize an electric pallet jack to efficiently unload trucks. You will be responsible for receiving incoming products in accordance with warehouse management system processes, accurately identifying and breaking down materials, noting discrepancies, and preparing products for storage. Additionally, you will conduct cycle counts, verify bin locations, consolidate inventory as needed, and assist with order picking.

ResponsibilitiesOperate an electric pallet jack to unload trucks.Receive and process incoming products in line with warehouse management system protocols.Accurately identify and break down materials, noting any discrepancies.Prepare products for storage.Conduct cycle counts and verify bin locations.Consolidate inventory as necessary.Assist with picking and packing orders.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating a pallet jack.Experience with cherry pickers and RF scan guns.Order picking and packing skills.Material handling and stocking capabilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsAttention to detail to ensure accurate product acceptance and discrepancy noting.Experience with stand-up forklifts is a plus to assist in other areas.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7am to 4pm, with an unpaid one-hour lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks. The position requires wearing steel-toed boots that go above the ankle, pants with no holes or frays, and a sleeved shirt. The role is based in a large distribution/warehouse environment, working alongside a team of about ten people.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
